Princess Ivy's Adventure — Morning

Wednesday, August 6 – 10 a.m. to Noon

Princess Ivy needs help on her next adventure to piece together clues while exploring The Castle. Children are encouraged to dress in Prince or Princess attire, although not required, as they join Princess Ivy in uncovering the surprises awaiting them at the Castle. After solving the adventure’s puzzles, the Princess and her guests will share lemonade, treats and some very special entertainment.

  • Recommended for ages 5-10

  • Reservation required by Wednesday, July 30, 1 p.m.

  • Space is limited

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

* Parents/Guardians may drop off their child at the event and pick them up at the conclusion of the program.

*Three or more participants are required for this event to take place. If the minimum number is not reached by the reservation date, notification and refunds will be provided on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

The Princess Ivy event is for participating children only this year:

To ensure a safe, inclusive, and independent experience for all children participating in this event, chaperones (including parents, guardians, and other non-Castle adults) are not permitted to attend this event. This policy fosters a secure environment where children can engage fully in activities, develop independence, and build social skills. All events will be supervised by trained and qualified staff members. Staff-to-child ratios will adhere to or exceed industry standards to ensure proper supervision and safety.

Objectives

  • Ensure the safety and security of all participants.

  • Promote an inclusive environment free from external influences.

  • Encourage independence and social development among children.

  • Maintain consistent supervision and management of events by trained staff.

Exceptions to this policy may be made on a case-by-case basis for children with specific needs that require the presence of a parent/guardian or chaperone. Such exceptions must be approved in advance by The Castle’s directors.

The Castle is a Victorian House Museum that offers tours of the 1855 Gothic Revival style home, located in Marietta, Ohio.
