Whether you’re enrolling for the first time or returning to our school, this immersive, educational experience blends imagination, history, and hands-on fun in a truly magical setting.

About the Experience
🪄 First Year Student Session
10am – 12pm
Designed especially for those enrolling in the School of Magic & Wizardry for the first time, this session welcomes new students into our magical academic community.
Students will be sorted into one of three Houses and rotate through three engaging classes, each led by a renowned member of our faculty:
Care of Magical Creatures – Professor Jaye Warman
History of Magic – Professor Kyle Yoho
Divination – Professor Heather Sowards
Wizarding-themed refreshments—including pumpkin juice, butterbeer, chocolate frogs, golden snitch cupcakes, and other sweet treats—will be available before classes begin and after the graduation ceremony.

5pm – 7pm
Guests will enjoy a communal banquet followed by an evening of magical trivia and friendly competition.
Highlights include:
A themed Wizarding Feast
Tea Leaf Reading Demonstration
Professor-led tutorials
Wizarding Trivia, hosted by Headmistress Kathryn McDaniel
Trivia will feature both general wizarding knowledge and details unique to The Castle’s School of Magic—so attentive students may gain a competitive edge!
🏆 The winning House will receive bragging rights and a special prize.

Important Information
Whether you are ten, thirty, fifty—or beyond—this magical educational experience is one you won’t want to miss!
This event is for all ages, with content structured for ages 10 and up.
Non-registered parents/guardians may drop off their student at the museum and pick them up at the conclusion of the session. If you intend to stay with your student as a chaperone, you are required to register and pay as a participant. Cross-generational participation and family group attendance is encouraged. This negates the need to attend as a non-participating chaperone.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for refunds.

School Uniform & Clothing Guidelines
Students are encouraged (but not required) to dress in the School’s traditional style. Partial uniforms are welcome.
🚫 Please note:
No specialty costumes (e.g., specific fictional characters)
No backpacks or tote bags. Bringing toys or other items which may cause classroom disruption is also prohibited
Purses are permitted

Final Notes for Enrolled Students
Please arrive 10 minutes early for escort to the welcome ceremony.
Water bottles are allowed; outside food and beverages are not.
