Mariettians were on the front lines of the Underground Railroad movement and the fight against slavery with their Virginia neighbors across the Ohio River. Join us to hear how these Marietta soldiers and sailors played critical roles in some of the most pivotal battles of the American Civil War. Hear their stories of service and sacrifice, and the unforgettable legacy they left behind.
