Step into the shadows of The Castle on a lantern-lit guided tour and discover the ghostly legends that linger within its halls. Hear chilling tales of unexplained sounds, mysterious sightings, and eerie experiences reported by staff, volunteers, and guests through the years. Who knows—you may even encounter something unexpected yourself.

Tours begin every 15 minutes and last approximately 45 minutes.

Private Tours
Looking for a more exclusive experience? Book a private tour for groups of 12 or fewer at a discounted rate. Must be reserved at least 4 days in advance by calling (740) 373-4180.

Important Information

• Halloween costumes are welcome! However, costumes must not be obstructive, inflatable, illuminated, or otherwise distracting.

• Large costume items, bags, and backpacks are not permitted on tours. (Small handbags and purses allowed.) Items can be checked at the sign-in counter and retrieved after the tour.

• By purchasing a ticket, attendees agree to follow all tour guidelines.
