Celebrate the Season in Victorian Splendor
Step back in time and experience the magic of a Victorian Christmas at The Castle! Begin your afternoon with a festive, Victorian-inspired tea featuring a selection of historic tea-time treats paired with the flavors of the season. Following tea, enjoy a guided tour through The Castle’s beautifully decorated rooms, adorned with elegant holiday trimmings inspired by the Davis family’s 1888 Christmas celebration.
As you explore, knowledgeable guides will share the stories and traditions that brought the holidays to life in the late 19th century. Throughout the house, discover whimsical snowflake displays created by local schools and community groups — a charming touch of hometown artistry that completes this enchanting experience.

Menu Information
Our tea service features a set menu with a delightful assortment of both savory and sweet items. The menu is inspired by Victorian holiday traditions, blending historical influences with modern seasonal flavors for a memorable experience.
While we make every effort to avoid common allergens and are happy to discuss specific dietary concerns, we cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free menu. Guests with allergies are encouraged to contact us before registering to discuss possible accommodations. We will do our best to assist but cannot guarantee all requests.
Tea Seating Information
Each seating accommodates up to 24 participants.
Each of our six tables seats four guests.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
When registering with friends or family:
Please ensure everyone in your party registers for the same seating time (First or Second Seating).
During checkout (online or by phone), include the names of those you wish to be seated with.
While we do our best to honor all seating requests, we cannot guarantee all preferences.
For groups of five or more:
Tables seat a maximum of four.
We will make every effort to seat additional members of your group at nearby tables.
Dress Code
There’s no formal dress code, but we recommend business casual or festive attire to match the spirit of the season.
Attending the Tea & Tour
Cancellations: Changes or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event start time for a refund.
Parking: Available along Fourth Street.
Accessible Parking: Located off High School Lane between the house and garage (limited spaces).
Check-In: Follow the brick sidewalk to the right of the house to reach the Carriage House.
Accessibility Note: This tour includes stairs between the first and second floors of The Castle. Guests with mobility concerns are encouraged to contact us in advance for additional accessibility information or assistance.
