Top Shelf has been cancelled for 2018, BUT we’re planning to host Top Shelf in 2019 with the theme of Prohibition!
You better savor it while you can! Between 1830 and 1900 drinking culture and alcohol production were changing in America. During this time, beer overtakes whiskey as the popular drink for the working class and Ohio leads the U.S. in wine production. Threatening to take all that away are the temperance societies with a firm grasp in Ohio… leading Washington County to become dry in the early 20th century. But why are we telling you all of this when you can learn for yourself during this fun bar crawl in historic downtown Marietta? Oh, and don’t forget you’ll be drinking for a good cause. This event serves as a fundraiser for both The Castle & Marietta Main Street. Cheers!
