The Castle is looking for a few good men and women who would like to join our docent corps.

A docent (from the latin docere to teach) is scheduled twice a month to give tours of The Castle. In addition, they help with bus tours, special events, teas, and children's programs. Some others help with gardening, or archives, or research. The docent corps also meets once a month during our off season for in-service days where we learn about a variety of subject matter all pertaining to our being the best tour guides we can be.

Training begins in February and continues through April. Independent scheduling begins in May.

This year's training begins February 19.
